With the mango season having arrived, Dubai’s Waterfront Market is bringing over 20 varieties of mangoes, right from Colombian mini mangoes to the Alphonso ones, sourced from around the world. Prices for the same start at AED5 per kilo, which includes Ataulfo, Carabao, Kesar, Totapuri, Keitt, Nam Dok Mai, Chausa, Dasheri, Kent, Valencia Pride, Langra, Banganapalli, Neelam, Awees, Taimour, among others.

The Market is also offering a complimentary box of mangoes with every purchase of AED500 or more, available daily from May 9 to June 10. For the ones willing to pick and eat then and there, that’s an option too. Beyond shopping, the market also offers a dining experience, with indoor and outdoor restaurants lining its waterfront promenade, alongside views of Dubai Islands and the Infinity Bridge.

With so many Indian expats living in the UAE, mangoes remain one of the highly awaited seasonal fruits. Tala Rehem said, “I always wait for the summers to eat mangoes, and in my house, children can skip meals and survive on this fruit.”

Likewise, another UAE resident shared, “For a couple of months, every day in my home, we have mangoes for lunch. Even if they turn out to be hot for the body, we take it as it’s only available for a few months.”

With a strong focus on quality and freshness, Waterfront Market is more than just a place to shop – it offers an authentic, homegrown food experience, complete with premium produce, seafood, meats, and spices sourced both locally and internationally.
