UAE President And Emir Of Kuwait Discuss Actions On Gaza And Lebanon Conflicts

The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, recently held talks to strengthen the long-standing fraternal ties between the two nations. During their discussions, they explored opportunities to deepen cooperation in various sectors to foster closer bilateral relations.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to his X account and wrote, “I was pleased to meet with my brother Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to discuss the deep-rooted and historical ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE.”

“Together, we will continue to work to achieve lasting growth, development, and prosperity in service of our nations while advancing peace for the benefit of the region’s people,” noted Sheikh Mohamed.

The leaders discussed recent regional and global developments, focusing especially on the ongoing situations in Gaza and Lebanon, reported WAM. They stressed the need for more international efforts to stop the violence in Gaza, prioritizing the protection of civilians in line with international law, and addressing the urgent humanitarian crisis.

Both leaders reaffirmed their strong commitment to Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, offering full support to the Lebanese people. They reportedly called for quick international action as well.
