On Sunday, November 24, Sheikh Zayed Road transformed into a sea of green with thousands of people pushing themselves to be there at 4 am to take part in the biggest fitness event — Dubai Run, marking the end of the glorious Dubai Fitness Challenge month, 2024. Social media is still buzzing with people sharing glimpses of themselves, as well as kids, people with disabilities, and even grandparents, all pulling off their neon jerseys and taking a break to channel their inner fitness gurus.
The internet is also filled with glimpses of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, as he made a grand entrance at 6.30 am, accompanied by police vehicles, including a cyber Tesla truck. He immersed himself in the glorious crowd, in a black jersey.

Looking forward to next year’s run,” said Ren Dalde, a UAE resident.
