President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, during a fraternal visit to the UAE. The meeting, held at Qasr Al Rawdha in Al Ain, underscored the robust and enduring ties between the two nations.
Sheikh Mohamed described the UAE as a second home for the Saudi Crown Prince, highlighting the close-knit relations between the countries. Prince Mohammed conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and extended his congratulations to the UAE on its 53rd National Day, expressing hopes for the nation’s continued development and prosperity.
The leaders discussed opportunities to enhance their strategic partnership and the importance of strengthening Gulf and Arab cooperation to address regional challenges. Emphasizing joint efforts, they reiterated their commitment to advancing Gulf solidarity and ensuring regional security and stability.
The discussions also touched on pressing regional and international developments, particularly in the Middle East. Both sides emphasized the need for concerted efforts to prevent new crises, maintain stability, and pursue a just and lasting peace through a two-state solution.
The UAE President hosted a dinner in honor of the Saudi Crown Prince’s visit, which was accompanied by Saudi ministers, including Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Defence, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, Minister of Sports. Senior UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, were also present during the visit, underscoring the significance of the meeting for bilateral relations.
