The UAE weather saw a gloomy start to the day with light showers across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Abu Dhabi. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported drizzle in various areas, including Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Dubai, Majaz and Al Batayih near Sharjah, Sweihan near Al Ain, Al Zawraa in Ajman, and Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
Due to the wet conditions, motorists are urged to exercise caution and drive carefully, particularly on slippery roads during the rainfall. The NCM forecasts that the weather throughout the day will generally be clear to partly cloudy, with some low clouds expected to appear over the northern and eastern regions of the country.
The temperatures in the internal areas are predicted to range from 25°C to 29°C, while coastal areas and islands will experience temperatures between 24°C and 28°C. The temperature in the mountainous regions will be cooler, ranging from 12°C to 17°C.
At 5.45 AM this morning, the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 5.3°C at Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. In terms of sea conditions, the Arabian Gulf is expected to be rough, while the Oman Sea will remain relatively calm to moderate.
As the day progresses, the NCM advises residents to remain alert, particularly as there may be slight differences in the weather conditions today.
