The UAE experienced varied temperatures this morning. The lowest recorded temperature was 4.6°C in Jais Mountain, Ras Al Khaimah, at 3.30 AM UAE local time. Meanwhile, Kalba in Sharjah reached the highest temperature of 25.6°C yesterday at 1.15 PM UAE local time.
On December 18, light rainfall was reported across parts of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Ain, and Abu Dhabi, much to the delight of UAE residents who welcomed the temperature drop. In interactions with The Finance 360, many expressed their enjoyment of the cooler weather, with some wishing it would last longer.
Others joked that while drizzle was appreciated, heavier rainfall could lead to more challenging conditions. The rain provided a refreshing change to the UAE’s typically hot and dry climate.
Meanwhile, sea conditions are expected to be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will have slight conditions. Dubai’s weather will reach a high of 24ºC with a low of 19ºC. In Abu Dhabi, temperatures will peak at 23ºC, with a low of 18ºC, while Sharjah will experience a high of 24ºC and a low of 18ºC.
