The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has announced plans to host a series of New Year’s Eve celebrations for workers across all UAE emirates, under the theme “Happy Workers, Thriving Business.”

The celebrations are part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to recognize the vital role workers play in the UAE’s development across various sectors. MOHRE regularly organizes such events on religious and national occasions to bring joy to workers.

Companies wishing to participate in the festivities can visit ensureeventsnye.com, select from the available events, and complete their registration. The celebrations will include entertainment activities, competitions, and prizes, alongside events at labor accommodations. Al Eskan Al Jamae, Labotel Workers Village, Emirates Global Aluminum, Fujairah National Construction & Transport Co, and others, are the companies involved in organizing these events.

This initiative is organized in collaboration with several key partners, including the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, the General Commands of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, local municipalities, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Civil Defence Authorities in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs in Dubai, and other key agencies such as the Roads and Transport Authority, the National Ambulance, and Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ).
