The UAE will host its first-ever ‘Made in Russia’ festival fair in Abu Dhabi from February 21st to 25th at Yas Bay Waterfront. Organized by the Russian Export Centre (REC) with the support of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event will highlight the diversity and industrial potential of high-quality Russian-made products while offering a glimpse into Russian culture.
Attendees will have the opportunity to try and buy a range of Russian products, such as canned vegetables, pastries, berry jams, dairy items, snacks, and baby food. The event will also offer tastings and cooking workshops highlighting traditional Arab and Russian dishes made with Russian ingredients. More than 10 companies will present their cosmetic products, as well as a selection of souvenirs and clothing.
The event will also offer a cultural experience, with masterclasses, performances of Russian folk music and dance, screenings of Russian animated films for families, and other activities celebrating the unique heritage of Russia. The festival will also spotlight Mezen painting, a traditional craft from Russia’s North.
This festival follows the success of four ‘Made in Russia’ festivals held in China, marking a significant expansion of the event’s global reach. (Inputs from WAM)
