Over the weekend, the UAE experienced cooler temperatures in the evening in parts of Sharjah, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah. For today, February 17, gloomy and cloudy weather was witnessed across areas of Al Nahda Sharjah, Majaz, and Corniche.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), some areas across the UAE may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a probability of rainfall. This applies especially to coastal, northern, and eastern areas.
This morning, rainfall already hit areas of Bu Hasa, Madinat Zayed, and Yaw Al Nadhrah of Al Dhafra region. The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 11.4°C in Jais Mountain, Ras Al Khaimah, at 1.00 AM UAE Local time.
Over the weekend, Jabel Jais experienced rainfall post 6.30 PM in the evening and some light drizzle around 4.00 PM. For this week, the NCM forecast predicts there will be an increase in temperatures post-afternoon.
