During his state visit to Italy, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, attended a dinner banquet hosted by Italian President Sergio Mattarella. The event was held in honor of His Highness and his delegation.
President Mattarella warmly welcomed Sheikh Mohamed, highlighting the strong relationship between the two nations and their shared goal of deepening bilateral cooperation.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed gratitude for the hospitality, emphasizing the ongoing growth of the UAE-Italy strategic partnership and the importance of continuing to strengthen their ties for mutual benefit.
At the banquet, the two leaders exchanged prestigious medals. Sheikh Mohamed presented President Mattarella with the Order of Zayed, the UAE’s highest civilian honor, while President Mattarella awarded Sheikh Mohamed the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Italy’s highest distinction for foreign leaders.
