Sugee Group, a leading real estate developer, headquartered in Mumbai, India, with over 35 years of experience, a GDV of $10.1 billion, and a strong presence in Portugal as well, is now dipping its feet in the UAE market.

With 22 residential and commercial developments delivered, and 32 ongoing projects, the company specializes in high-quality, design-centric developments. It announced its strategic expansion into the UAE with over 15 million sq. ft. target over the next three years at a lavish launch in Dubai’s luxurious Burj Al Arab.

Mr. Nishant Deshmukh, Founder and Managing Partner of Sugee Group, shared, “Our entry into the UAE is a milestone moment for Sugee Group. We are very thankful to the visionary leadership of the UAE, and I would like to extend my personal appreciation and gratitude for Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Al Marjan, for his valuable guidance, advice and constant support towards our first project in Ras Al Khaimah. It was his passion and commitment which helped us accelerate our entry and expansion of our roots to the UAE.”

Pritesh Jain, Partner at Sugee Group said, “It all started for us two years ago when we thought of a viral song that said, Habibi, come to Dubai, and that’s when the planning began until we realized that Dubai was the market we wanted to be in.”

Jain added, “We’ve been meticulously planning for the last two years, conducting tons of research, gathering data, and analyzing what goes on in Dubai and the UAE. Thanks to our team and management, we are living the dream.”

Sugee Group is set for expansion in Al Marjan, Ras Al Khaimah within the next 60 days, and another project in RAK Central to follow soon.

When asked about starting off with Ras Al Khaimah first, Ankita Harshvardhan Patil, Partner at Sugee, shared, “Ras Al Khaimah and Al Marjan Island have huge potential in the next coming years. The Wyn resort and Nikki Nikki Beach Residences are very exciting opportunities coming up there. While we think Ras Al Khaimah has huge potential, our focus is also going to be on Dubai, but we had a very interesting gateway into Al Marjan, that’s why we thought of venturing there first and then in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.”

Ankita also gave insights on how the developments will uphold its commitment to sustainability, saying, “Sustainability is now at the heartland of every aspect of every business, with climate change and AI. We are trying to incorporate sustainability as much as we can because we now live in an environment where the population is increasing. It is also a collective responsibility of every citizen and our stakeholders.”

“The UAE is our focus, with Ras Al Khaimah being the main starting point,” said Patil, who is optimistic that Sugee will explore other emirates in the future as they venture into the market here very soon.

As part of its expansion strategy, Sugee Group aims to deliver over 10,000 residential and commercial units to meet the growing demand in the UAE market. The first phase of this development will focus on luxury residential projects in Ras Al Khaimah, where they will introduce more than 1,000 meticulously designed premium units. These units will offer world-class amenities and architectural excellence, catering to both end-users and investors.
