The UAE’s NAFIS Program Increased Emirati Employment In The Private Sector By 201%

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the leadership skills of Emiratis working in the private sector, the Emirati Human Resources Competitiveness Council (NAFIS) has revealed that the percentage of Emirati women working in private sector companies and establishments has increased to 70 percent of the total number of citizens working in the sector.

As per the data available, there has been a massive increase in the total number of citizens joining the private sector in the country, exceeding 201.4 percent, recording 108,000 male and female citizens, including 70,404 citizens who obtained job opportunities since the launch of the Nafis program in September 2021 until the middle of this year.

Before the program was launched, 37,569 citizens were employed across various private sector establishments and institutions.
