The UAE has made it clear that it will not contribute to post-war efforts in Gaza without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirmed the country’s unwavering stance in a message shared on the social media platform X on Saturday.

“The UAE is not ready to support the next day of the war in Gaza unless a Palestinian state is established,” Sheikh Abdullah stated.

Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the UAE’s commitment to the Palestinian cause. In his own post on X, Dr. Gargash highlighted the need for a two-state solution as the only path to lasting stability in the region.

“We are fully convinced that true stability in the region can only be achieved through a two-state solution. The UAE will continue to support the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination,” Dr. Gargash said, reinforcing the UAE’s dedication to achieving a sustainable peace.
