A recent report by the National Centre of Meteorology informed that rainfall will continue in several areas of Abu Dhabi due to surface low pressure. Abu Dhabi authorities have urged residents to exercise caution on the roads in light of weather fluctuations.

On Sunday, Murbad and Maidaq areas in Fujairah reported hail falls, resulting in the weather department sounding off orange alerts for convective cloud formation associated with rainfall. The alert lasted until 8 pm on Sunday. Abu Dhabi weather officials are expecting light to moderate downpours in the interiors of the Capital, accompanied by fresh winds in the next few days.

In different parts of Al Ain, light, moderate, and heavy rainfall is anticipated, potentially accompanied by fresh to strong winds during the same period. Al Dhafra is also expected to see light to moderate rainfall in scattered pockets, along with fresh to strong winds, according to the authority’s social media post on Sunday evening.

The authority urged the motorists to abide by adjusted speed limits and to avoid traveling to valleys. They also recommended to carry first-aid kits and alternative light sources.
