As Dubai’s scorching heat began to subside, I embarked on a morning adventure at Dubai Festival City. The city’s vibrant landscape and diverse dining scenes never fail to disappoint, and Parker’s breakfast menu was no exception.
While Dubai is already brimming with so many new restaurants, I got a chance to try out the breakfast menu at Parker’s — a cozy boutique hotel nestled in a bloomy corner of the mall, with vintage floral decor. Their staff’s friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere. Here’s a quick glimpse of the top three dishes you must try:
The Kiri cinnamon pancakes: infused with the warm aroma of cinnamon, these golden disks were comforting. Drizzled with golden syrup and topped with a dollop of whipped cream, it proved to be an ultimate breakfast treat.
The avocado toast was served with chunks of fruit on a sourdough loaf, with a sprinkle of Feta cheese and greens.
Lastly, a lot needs to be said about the “Zaatar Benedict”, a croissant with a fusion of flavors, including buttery layers topped with a blend of zaatar, a Levantine spice mix. It was served with Hollandaise sauce and was delightful.
Parker’s emerged in 2015 as a pop-up concept, inspired by childhood memories of carefree days spent in green spaces. It’s more than just a culinary destination; it’s a journey through global flavors, reimagined with a nostalgic twist.
And now, this joint has expanded to London. As part of the pre-opening, Parker’s London welcomed Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The video created a massive buzz on the internet in its opening week.
