Starting November 1st, Dubai residents who sponsor their family members or domestic workers and comply with residency rules will be eligible for special privileges.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has introduced the “The Ideal Face” initiative to recognize and reward sponsors whose dependents have a clean residency record. This initiative aims to encourage responsible sponsorship and promote a positive living environment for residents in Dubai.
Special Benefits to be as follows:
- Priority phone service: Faster response times when calling GDRFA Dubai’s call center.
- Dedicated service: A personal assistant to help with transactions at customer service centers.
- Digital certificate: A digital certificate recognizing their status as an “Ideal Face” sponsor.
GDRFA Dubai offers home-based services for the elderly. The mobile customer service center will make it easier for older residents to get help with residency-related matters.
To be eligible for the special privileges, you must:
- Be a citizen of the UAE or a resident.
- Have lived in Dubai for at least 10 years.
- Be sponsoring one or more people who have not broken any residency rules in the past 10 years.
- Have a clean residency record yourself this year.
Dubai Director-General Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri reportedly said “Security and safety are essential for realizing the UAE’s vision of a happy and sustainable society. The Ideal Face initiative recognizes individuals who follow the law and embody the UAE’s values, encouraging all to embrace positive behavior and contribute to stability and security.”
