On October 27, Inter Milan and Juventus delivered a Serie A classic at San Siro, ending in a dramatic 4-4 draw that left fans on the edge of their seats.

End-to-End First Half

Inter struck first with a penalty by Piotr Zielinski in the 15th minute, giving the hosts an early lead. However, Juventus quickly responded as Dusan Vlahovic equalized just five minutes later. Juve gained momentum, with Timothy Weah finding the net in the 26th minute to put the Old Lady ahead. Inter responded with a quick-fire equalizer from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and minutes later, another penalty awarded to Inter allowed Zielinski to score his second, making it 3-2 by halftime.

Motta’s Super Sub Salvages a Draw

Inter appeared to have control in the second half, extending their lead to 4-2 thanks to a Denzel Dumfries goal in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Juve manager Thiago Motta brought on 19-year-old Kenan Yildiz in place of Weah, a move that proved pivotal. Yildiz quickly made his mark, scoring in the 71st minute and again in the 82nd minute to equalize, sealing a hard-earned draw for Juventus.

Looking Ahead

Juventus will next host Parma, while Inter faces Empoli away on October 30 as the Serie A title race continues to intensify.
