The 30th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), running from December 6 to January 12, 2025, is set to be the most extraordinary yet. All thanks to this time of the year as it’s the peak season for tourism with Christmas and New Year’s festivities in full swing.
This year’s festival will feature a dazzling array of exclusive, one-of-a-kind experiences across the city – signature events, exciting new additions, and a splash of offers with 90% off at several brands.
Reports suggest that tourists often book their tickets months in advance to visit Dubai, with many focusing on the city’s top attractions. In addition, we’ve received insider scoop from UAE residents who have already made purchases, taking full advantage of the deals available.
Husain, a Sharjah resident, shared that he spent around AED 500 and was able to get everything he desired. “I spent this amount because the offers are incredible. Everything is up to 80% off, making it so easy to shop. I bought shoes, perfumes, and household essentials to enhance my space. Additionally, I found some regular clothing items for under AED 40.”
Aaisha, another Filipino expat from Dubai said, “Dubai Festival Mall is all about great offers. I’ve purchased almost everything here because I’m loyal to this mall – it offers the best variety. Over time, I’ve developed a preference for brands like Brands For Less, Levis, Max, and Mumuso. I also buy my cosmetics in bulk, and all my shopping amounts to around AED 900.”
Not only this but Indian resident Hanni, along with her cousins, is specially traveling to Dubai on December 19, from Mumbai, specifically to experience the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), and Christmas festivities. “Everything is on the rise but we’re more than excited to explore all that we can in the UAE. We’ve specially saved AED 2000 to only shop during the sale.”
“Dubai has been on our list for a long time, and we made sure to choose this period for our visit to take advantage of the amazing offers on food, clothing, and all the attractions we love,” she said.
