Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has announced the launch of his lifestyle brand, ARKS, on social media which will open its first store on February 15 at 201 Waterfield Road, Bandra. After a decade of development, the brand is set to offer a curated collection of high-end footwear alongside essential wardrobe pieces such as tailored shirts, white T-shirts, and well-fitted trousers.
Kapoor revealed that his journey in cinema and the changing fashion trends have greatly influenced ARKS’ aesthetic, which blends sophistication with a relaxed vibe.
He also highlighted the influence of his home city, Mumbai, on the brand’s inspiration.
In a statement, he shared, “I’ve been to many cities around the world, but nothing compares to the energy of Mumbai. It’s a place that drives you to keep going, no matter the setbacks. Mumbai is a part of me, my soul. It’s home, where I’ve played cricket in every alley, kicked a football in every corner, and cycled through its streets.”
ARKS represents Kapoor’s official entry into the fashion and lifestyle industry. Alia Bhatt, his wife, is already making waves in the business industry with Ed-a-Mamma, a brand that explores thoughtfully designed, consciously created products for kids with stores in Mumbai and Noida, India.
