New Year’s is just a week away, and with few days left, it looks like UAE residents are looking for end-of-moment offers to plan their trips. While many may have dropped their plans for December due to a notable hike in flight prices, here’s something that may help you reconsider your decision.

The year-end sale includes up to AED500 off on one-way and round-trip flight bookings, providing a cost-effective way to reach your destination. Meanwhile, Asif Mir, Founder of Sultana Tours & Travels, highlighted the surge in travel within India, as many expats have decided to go back home during New Year’s.

Meanwhile. staycations in the UAE remain popular, with Dubai ranking as the top destination for UAE residents, followed by Abu Dhabi, according to a YouGov survey. Internationally, Switzerland topped the list, followed by Singapore and Canada. Other notable destinations in the top 10 included the Maldives, Japan, the UK, Germany, and South Korea. Interestingly, there were no US destinations in the top 10, despite the country’s traditional popularity with UAE travelers.
