The third edition of the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, commenced on November 26.
The forum brought together over 6,000 participants, all distinguished international figures, government officials, and representatives from global institutions and the private sector, to discuss advancing women’s empowerment and promoting gender balance not only in the UAE but globally.
A video shared by Dubai Media City, gives a glimpse of Sheikh Mohammed’s royal entry, as he welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the forum’s importance as a platform for advancing the dialogue on empowering women and ensuring equal opportunities; also acknowledged the significant contributions of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, both locally and internationally.

Proud of the UAE’s progress in empowering women and achieving gender balance, Sheikh Mohammed affirmed the country’s steadfast belief in the potential of women.
