Some may wonder where to go to seek blessings on the days of Diwali. The UAE has some beautiful temples across the city, with the Shri Krishna Temple Dubai – being a popular choice. This temple has played a significant role in serving the Indian community in the region for over a century. Many residents also visited the Guru Nanak Darbar in Jebel Ali Village and the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi as well.

Vaidnali Dudhane, a travel and lifestyle blogger, recently visited the temple in Dubai and described her experience as incredibly ”calming and uplifting”, praising the beautiful architecture and the serene atmosphere. She said: “The temple evoked a sense of calm and upliftment, similar to the feeling one experiences in traditional temples.”
Another local resident also shared his experience saying, “The temple has been gathering so many UAE residents. The moment I stepped inside, I was feeling a sense of peace. The design, with its blend of traditional Indian and contemporary elements, was both beautiful and functional.”
Back in the date, when the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi first opened its doors to the public, over 65,000 worshippers visited the temple on the inaugural Sunday, as reported by Khaleej Times. While over 40,000 visitors arrived by bus and car to offer their morning prayers, an additional 25,000 attended the evening program.
