Popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh recently performed a sold-out concert in Abu Dhabi. This was part of his ongoing tour, which has been a huge success in India as well. Before taking the stage in Abu Dhabi, Dosanjh expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Punjabi has arrived in Abu Dhabi.”

Attendees shared multiple videos on social media and shared their experiences. We learned from UAE Blogger Khushali that the event was a hit and got insights too. She said, “We were eagerly awaiting Diljit Dosanjh’s 1st concert in UAE and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was incredible.”

She also spoke at length about the “singer’s enthusiasm, energy, and powerful voice that electrified the entire performance”. “Even as a non-Punjabi speaker, I could feel the vibe, and for Punjabi fans, it must have been an unforgettable experience, as he truly engaged everyone in the crowd,” she noted.

Khusali then commended the organizers for the flawless execution of the event, particularly the cleanliness of the restrooms, which was impressive considering the large turnout. However, she suggested that a December or January date, or perhaps an indoor venue, might have been more suitable given the weather conditions.

The concert, which lasted nearly two and a half hours, featured a diverse playlist. Dosanjh performed a mix of old and new songs, from his hits like “Veer Vaar” and “5 Taara” to recent Bollywood chartbusters like “Ikk Kudi” and “Naina.” He added a twist by showcasing his latest tracks, “Born To Shine” and “Lemonade.”
