Donald Trump Wins US Presidency, Trump 2.0 To Officially Begin In January 2025

Republican candidate Donald J. Trump becomes the 47th president of the United States of America.

Trump 2.0 was officially declared after his win in Wisconsin, which took him over the 270 electoral majority needed to certify his presidential victory. This victory affirms Trump’s combative style of politics. Trump targeted his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, with deeply personal attacks—often misogynistic and racist—while painting a grim picture of a country overwhelmed by violent migrants.

The Wisconsin win delivered 10 Electoral College votes to Trump. In 2016, Wisconsin stood as the deciding state in the presidential elections, allowing Trump to secure a Republican term in the White House after Ronald Reagan in 1989.

His harsh rhetoric, combined with an image of hypermasculinity, struck a chord with frustrated voters, particularly men, in a highly polarized nation. As president, he has pledged to push an agenda focused on radically overhauling the federal government and seeking retribution against those he sees as his adversaries.

In his earlier comments at Florida’s Palm Beach Convention Center, Trump vowed to keep fighting “until we have built a strong and prosperous America.
