The eighth edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), popularly known as the 30×30, will make its return this October.

The organisers are inviting residents to engage in 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 days, starting from October 26 to November 24.
The first edition of this city-wide initiative, launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, aims to transform Dubai into one of the most active cities in the world.

Over 2.4 million people participated in the first edition of DFC, making it one of the largest community fitness events globally.

List of activities at a Glance

This year’s challenge promises a host of free activities like workout classes, pitch and court hire, and major events.

The list of the activities includes: Dubai Stand-Up Paddle on Saturday, November 2; Dubai Ride on Sunday, November 10; and the grand finale, Dubai Run, recognised as the world’s largest free run, on Sunday, November 24.

Participants will also have access to Community Fitness Hubs across the city, offering free sessions at top workout studios.
Besides the key event activities, fitness enthusiasts can sign up for triathlons, a dedicated wellness festival, and various padel competitions, all as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

The registration for these events is not yet open, but the residents are encouraged to stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, Dubai offers a wide range of fitness classes, from HIIT and boxing to outdoor sessions, many of which are available as free trials at gyms and studios across the city.
