The Dubai Fountain, one of the major attractions of the UAE, situated in downtown near the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, is going to be temporarily closed for 5 months. Emaar Properties announced on Wednesday, February 5, that the fountain will be temporarily shut for a full renovation, which will include upgrades to its choreography, lighting, and sound system.

This iconic attraction, known for its mesmerizing water displays synchronized with music and lights, captivates millions of visitors annually, both from within the UAE and abroad.

While it will be shut for the coming months, Emaar assured that upon its return, the fountain will be more spectacular and immersive.

Commenting on the upgrade, Mr. Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, stated: “Dubai Fountain is more than a spectacle—it is a reflection of Dubai’s soul, where art, innovation, and emotion come together in perfect harmony. As we elevate this iconic landmark, we continue to create experiences that connect people, inspire wonder, and stand the test of time.”
