Dubai drivers now have a dedicated solution for managing public parking with the launch of the new Parkin app. The app streamlines parking payments across public spaces and developer-managed spots while offering additional features like paying fines, disputing charges, and requesting refunds.
Previously, drivers in Dubai primarily relied on the RTA app or SMS for parking payments. The new Parkin app aims to “simplify parking management, improve accessibility, and support efficient urban mobility,” according to officials.
Multiple Registration Options and Wallet Integration
To get started, users can register through three methods: by creating a Parkin account, using UAE Pass, or linking an existing RTA account. The app also supports registration through a simple Parkin form.
Once registered, customers can manage their digital wallet for top-ups, handle multiple vehicles, and subscribe to seasonal parking plans, all within the app.
Advanced Parking Search and Real-Time Finder
A standout feature of the Parkin app is its real-time parking finder, which enables users to locate available on-street and off-street parking spaces instantly. An advanced search function further refines options based on live availability, helping drivers save time and avoid the hassle of circling for a spot.
Flexible Payment Options and AutoPay Integration
Parkin introduces several payment enhancements for user convenience. The ‘PayLater’ feature allows deferred payments, giving users more flexibility. Additionally, drivers can schedule parking sessions in advance and even integrate future bookings into their calendars.
The app also supports AutoPay, enabling a fully contactless parking experience. Leveraging automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) technology, the system detects vehicles upon entry and exit, automatically charging the user’s registered payment method without the need for tickets or payment machines.
This system is already operational at Parkin-managed multi-storey car parks and major malls like Mall of the Emirates and Deira City Centre.

With features that integrate parking permits into device wallets and offer seamless payment options, the Parkin app is set to transform how drivers in Dubai manage their parking needs.
