The Dubai Marathon has officially opened registration for its much-anticipated 25th edition, set to take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026. The 2026 Dubai Marathon will feature multiple race categories to accommodate all fitness levels
Full Marathon: 42.195 km, starting at 7:00 AM, for participants aged 18 and above.
10 km Road Race: Starting at 8:15 AM, open to runners aged 15 and above.
4 km Fun Run: Starting at 10:30 AM, open to all ages.

The Dubai Marathon has a prestigious history of record-breaking performances. In 2008, Haile Gebrselassie ran the second-fastest marathon time ever during his debut in Dubai, elevating the event’s international profile. More recently, Ethiopian runners Boti Gelemeshu and Berdado Hirpa won the men’s and women’s titles respectively in 2025, both setting personal bests.

Start/Finish Location: Umm Suqeim Road near Madinat Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab.

Run Number Collection: Scheduled from January 28 to 31, with in-person collection required for identity verification.
