The Dubai Ride, one of the largest community cycling events in the UAE, is set to attract riders of all ages. This year’s event offers cyclists the chance to experience something new, with both challenging and family-friendly routes designed to suit their preferences.

In preparation for the event, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced extended operating hours for the Metro on November 10. This is to accommodate the ones expected to participate. The Red and Green Metro lines will operate from 3 a.m. to midnight, ensuring an easy and convenient commute for both participants and visitors alike.

One of the highlights of the event is the ’12km Challenge’ route, which allows experienced cyclists to ride along Sheikh Zayed Road. Additionally, there’s something for those looking for a more relaxed pace: the ‘4km Downtown Dubai’ course offers a family-friendly experience.

With the extended Dubai Metro hours, residents, participants, and visitors can conveniently access the event’s starting points and return home once done. With last year’s event attracting over 35,000 participants, the Dubai Ride 2024 is expected to be even bigger and better.
