Dubai Metro operations have returned to normal following a brief disruption caused by a technical glitch during Thursday’s morning rush hour, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
At approximately 9:40 a.m., the RTA alerted commuters to a temporary service interruption affecting routes towards Centrepoint station and the area between Equiti and Max stations. The delay was attributed to technical issues.
To assist passengers during the disruption, the RTA provided an alternative bus service between the affected stations. Fortunately, the issue was resolved quickly, with full services restored around 20 minutes after the delay was initially reported.
The RTA has since confirmed that operations are back on track, ensuring smooth travel for metro users.
