Dubai: New Transport Service ‘Uber School’ Launched For Students; Timings, Packages Revealed

Students in Dubai Can Now Use Uber School for Safe and Convenient School Transport

Uber has launched Uber School in collaboration with Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), a convenient and affordable transport option designed for students from aged 8 and above, and their parents.

With this new initiative, parents in Dubai can manage daily routines more easily and efficiently, reducing both personal and traffic stress. As more students get into the swing of their busy school schedules before the year-end, this offers a practical and cost-effective solution for hassle-free transportation. 

Timings and how it works

To start using this new service, parents can set up a Uber Teens account first and then glance through the offers and affordable rides options. Timings for the trips will be between 6 am and 6 pm, adjacent to regular school hours.

The new service comes with an offer of up to 35%, helping parents save on their daily transport costs, when taking 10 trips or more within a week.

Why this new initiative?

Carine Arif, Head of Communications, MENA at Uber shared this has been designed keeping students in mind, ensuring an affordable, efficient, and reliable solution for daily commutes with enhanced safety features, leveraging the existing Teens product.
