Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced Public Auction No. 118, offering 90 distinctive vehicle plate numbers featuring two, three, four, and five-digit combinations. The plates span a range of codes, including (AA, BB, CC, I, J, O, P, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z).
Among the standout numbers up for grabs are the much-coveted super plates (BB 19), (BB 20), and (CC 22), expected to draw significant interest from collectors and car enthusiasts.
The live auction will be held on Saturday, April 26, at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel, with bidding starting at 4:30 pm. Registration for the event opens on Monday, April 21.
Interested bidders can register through the RTA website (www.rta.ae), the RTA app, or in person at Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha. On-site registration will also be available at the auction venue from 2 pm on the day of the event. As seating is limited, early registration is advised, with priority given to pre-registered participants.
To take part, bidders must hold an active traffic file in Dubai, submit a security deposit cheque for Dh25,000 made out to the RTA, and pay a non-refundable registration fee of Dh120. All purchases will be subject to a 5% Value Added Tax (VAT). Payments can be completed via credit card through the RTA website, app, or in person at the designated centres.
