This week started on a high note as UAE residents braced for summer. Over the past weekend, temperatures nearly touched 36°C, marking the end of the cooler weather. However, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), a slight dip in temperature is expected today and in the coming days, along with dusty conditions.

The NCM has issued a warning about fresh northwesterly winds reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h, causing blowing dust and sand across some coastal and western internal areas. This may reduce horizontal visibility to less than 3,000 meters at times, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM today.
Residents are also advised to avoid outdoor activities near coastal areas due to strong winds and dusty conditions. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature recorded in the country this morning was 19.5°C in Al Farfar (Fujairah) at 1:45 AM UAE local time.
In Dubai, temperatures will range between 27°C and 39°C, and in Abu Dhabi, it will range between 27°C and 40°C. For Sharjah and Ajman too, the temperatures will briefly fluctuate between the mentioned ranges.
