As the Eid Al Fitr 2025 long weekend begins this evening, March 28, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced adjusted service hours for public transport, parking, and customer service centers during this stretch. The holiday period will run from Saturday, March 29, to Tuesday, April 2, 2025, with normal operations resuming on Wednesday, April 3. The changes will impact Dubai Metro, Tram, buses, marine transport, vehicle testing centers, and parking services. Check out timings and operating hours.

Dubai Metro (Red & Green Lines):

Saturday, March 29: 5:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)

Sunday, March 30: 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)

Monday to Wednesday, March 31 – April 2: 5:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)

Dubai Tram:

March 29 – March 31: 6:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)

March 30: 9:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)

Public Bus & Marine Transport Services

Passengers using Dubai Bus, Hatta Bus, or marine transport—including the Water Taxi, Dubai Ferry, traditional Abra, and electric heritage Abra—should check the S’hail app or visit the RTA website for updated schedules.

Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will be suspended from the afternoon of 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal. Passengers can use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi as an alternative.

Route E102 will also be temporarily out of service from 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal.

Public Parking

Parking across Dubai will be free from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with fees resuming on 4 Shawwal. However, multi-level parking terminals will continue to charge regular fees.

Vehicle Testing & Customer Service

Vehicle testing centers will be closed from 1 to 3 Shawwal and will reopen on 4 Shawwal.

Customer Happiness Centres will also remain closed during this period, but Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA Headquarters will operate 24/7.

With these adjustments, RTA aims to ensure smooth transportation while allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the Eid festivities without disruptions.
