Sharjah Airport has announced that it is fully prepared to manage the anticipated surge in air traffic during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday period, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for travelers.
Between March 27 and April 6, the airport expects to welcome over 500,000 passengers and handle 3,344 flights. In response, the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) has implemented a comprehensive operational plan in coordination with its strategic partners and relevant entities. These preparations are designed to uphold the highest international standards while delivering a seamless and exceptional travel experience.
To enhance efficiency during this peak period, the airport has reinforced its workforce across all operational areas, with a particular emphasis on customer service teams to provide immediate assistance to passengers, reported WAM. All facilities and support services have been fully prepared to accommodate the increased traffic, reaffirming Sharjah Airport’s status as a leading aviation hub.
In line with its commitment to inclusivity, the SAA has also introduced dedicated services for senior citizens, children, and persons with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and catering to their specific travel needs.
