Emirates has significantly expanded its global connectivity over the past year by doubling the number of cities it serves beyond its existing network. This expansion, achieved through new partnerships and the strengthening of existing ones, has opened up nearly 1,700 additional destinations, offering passengers greater travel options. The airline now has 31 codeshare partners, 118 interline agreements, and 13 rail and helicopter service partners, which has enabled over 61,000 passengers to connect seamlessly on Emirates and partner networks weekly.

Expanded Network and Enhanced Passenger Experience

Through its robust network of over 140 destinations and strategic partnerships in more than 100 countries, Emirates offers expanded travel choices, seamless single-ticket itineraries, enhanced baggage transfers, frequent flyer benefits, and lounge access. This network expansion provides travelers with improved connectivity and a smoother travel experience.

Strategic New Partnerships

Emirates launched 16 new partnerships last year, including codeshares with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia and interline agreements with airlines such as Sri Lankan Airlines, Flynas, Viva Aerobus, Sun Express, and Kenya Airways. Additionally, Emirates partnered with several European rail operators, such as Trenitalia and Renfe, to offer fast connections across Europe.

Strengthening Existing Collaborations

The airline’s partnerships with United, Air Canada, and Qantas continue to provide Emirates customers with unmatched access to over 350 destinations across the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. Its partnership with flydubai remains a cornerstone of its network strategy, offering over 230 destinations across 100 countries and enhancing customer benefits through joint loyalty programs.

Regional Connectivity and Unique Destinations

Emirates has also focused on offering unique regional getaways through partnerships with airlines like Maldivian and Pro Flight Zambia. These partnerships enable customers to explore destinations such as the Maldives’ remote islands and Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park.

Loyalty Programs and Operational Excellence

Emirates Skywards, the airline’s loyalty program, and Emirates SkyCargo complement its network partnerships, ensuring that both passengers and cargo customers benefit from the airline’s extensive connections. Emirates Airport Services play a crucial role in facilitating smooth transitions between flights and ensuring access to the airline’s lounges worldwide.

Through these efforts, Emirates continues to enhance its global presence, aligning with Dubai’s strategic vision to become the world’s most connected city and a hub for business, tourism, and investment.
