As the financial hub of Shanghai mops up the mess and chaos created by Typhoon Bebinca, airline carriers Emirates and Etihad have issued travel updates as flights have been impacted by the typhoon.
Emirates notified passengers of delayed flights and said that affected passengers would be rebooked, and would then receive an updated itinerary. In a travel update, Etihad Airways stated that there will be disruption on the Abu Dhabi-Shanghai route. One flight from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai was reportedly delayed by more than 9 hours due to the typhoon.
