Etihad Airways has expanded its fleet with the addition of a sixth Airbus A350, which touched down this weekend after a successful delivery flight from Toulouse, France.
Celebrated for its eco-friendly design, the A350 is recognized as one of the most advanced wide-body aircraft available. It delivers a 25 percent reduction in CO2 emissions and boasts a noise footprint that is 50 percent smaller than that of previous-generation aircraft.
The A350-1000’s extended range gives Etihad added flexibility in its network planning. This summer, the airline will begin deploying the A350 on flights to Atlanta—its newest destination in North America. Atlanta becomes Etihad’s sixth North American gateway and is one of 16 new routes the carrier plans to introduce in 2025.
