In a very adorable Instagram post, global sensation Selena Gomez announced her engagement with Benny Blanco. The former took to her social media on Thursday to share the happy news with her fans. She also posted a close-up photo of her classy engagement ring; penned, “Forever begins now..”
Followers were quick to congratulate the couple, and fiancé Benny also wrote, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.” The post’s comments section was limited to those they both follow on Instagram.
Nina Dobrev, Lily Collins, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Olivia Wilde, were the first to share beautiful wishes for the couple.
In the first picture, Selena showed off the classy oval-cut ring, while the second photo featured her joyfully celebrating during an outdoor picnic. The final image showed the couple cuddling, with Selena proudly displaying her ring.
Gomez and Blanco officially confirmed their relationship in December 2023, although they had been privately together for six months before that, as reported by People magazine.
Since then, the couple has openly shared their affection on social media, posting heartfelt moments. They have also appeared together at several public events, including the Golden Globes, Primetime Emmys, and even courtside at an April basketball game between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.
