The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced that air travel between the United Arab Emirates and the Syrian Arab Republic will soon resume.
In a press release issued today, the authority confirmed that both nations are working closely to finalize the formalities needed to restart flights. The GCAA stated, “Joint coordination is currently underway to complete the necessary procedures for restarting flights between the two countries, in a manner that enhances air traffic and supports passenger and cargo movement between them.”
The move is expected to boost connectivity and strengthen the flow of both travelers and goods between the UAE and Syria.
