Hilton has partnered with Taiba Investments to introduce its iconic Waldorf Astoria brand to Madinah, with the new luxury hotel set to open in 2028. The Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah will feature over 300 elegantly designed guest rooms and suites, along with top-tier dining options, including the renowned Peacock Alley café and two upscale restaurants. The property will also offer a range of facilities such as multi-functional halls, a boardroom, a private club lounge, a prayer room, and a fitness center.

Strategically located on the northern side of the main mosque, the hotel will provide exclusive, direct views of the holy site and is just a few minutes’ walk from it. This venture reflects Taiba Investments’ expansion into the luxury hospitality market and its commitment to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

“This agreement marks a pivotal moment in our strategic growth and reflects our unwavering commitment to elevating Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector,” said Sultan Al Otaibi, CEO of Taiba Investments. “Partnering with Hilton and Waldorf Astoria allows us to provide world-class accommodation while honoring the Kingdom’s rich heritage.”

Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s Vice President of Development for the Middle East and Africa, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating, “Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah will bring timeless hospitality and elegant service near one of the world’s most sacred sites. We look forward to expanding our network across the Kingdom.”

As part of its expansion strategy, Taiba Investments will also renovate and rebrand the Taiba Front Hotel as the Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah. This transformation will blend the luxury standards of Waldorf Astoria with the cultural essence of Madinah, solidifying Taiba’s role in redefining the city’s hospitality landscape and contributing to the local economy.
