This visit, which takes place from April 8 to 9, 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marks a significant milestone in the growing strategic relationship between India and the UAE.
Upon arrival, Crown Prince Hamdan was greeted with a ceremonial guard of honour and welcomed by Union Minister of State for Tourism & Petroleum and Natural Gas, Suresh Gopi.
Accompanied by a delegation of senior government officials and business leaders, the Crown Prince’s visit highlights the expanding scope of the India-UAE partnership.
His itinerary includes a business roundtable in Mumbai, aimed at exploring new trade and investment opportunities in both traditional sectors like infrastructure and energy, as well as emerging fields such as fintech, innovation, and sustainability.
The visit is expected to strengthen the economic ties between the two nations, accelerating cooperation and opening doors to future collaboration. Dubai has long served as a key hub for India’s commercial and cultural exchanges with the UAE, and with a large Indian diaspora in the Emirates—estimated at 4.3 million, with many residing in Dubai—the people-to-people connections remain strong.
