The International Charity Organisation has announced the successful completion of its 2025 Ramadan campaign, with an astounding AED165 million raised to fund charitable projects across 23 nations. The campaign made a huge impact, providing essential aid to the most vulnerable communities worldwide.

Over 600,000 Meals Distributed

One of the standout achievements of the campaign was the distribution of 315,000 Iftar meals in highly impoverished regions and 22,000 food parcels that facilitated Iftar in over 450 disadvantaged villages internationally.

Within the UAE, the organisation ensured that 300,000 Iftar meals reached those in need, alongside 3,500 Ramadan food baskets and 80,000 Fitra (Zakat al-Fitr) contributions to support local families.

Infrastructure and Education Initiatives

The campaign also focused on long-term solutions, funding the construction of 258 mosques and supporting the drilling of 1,000 water wells in regions facing critical water scarcity, reports WAM. These projects aim to provide sustainable resources to communities, ensuring access to clean water and spiritual support for years to come.

Supporting Orphans & More

An essential part of the campaign’s mission was to uplift the lives of 60,000 orphans, offering them much-needed assistance. In addition to this, the campaign funded medical care, provided essential medical equipment, and supported families with debt relief and income-generating projects, helping them regain stability and independence.

Gratitude, Community Spirit

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming success of the campaign, noting that exceeding targets reflects the strong spirit of community engagement and charitable work. He further reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to providing a dignified life for the world’s most vulnerable populations.

In his statement, Sheikh Dr. Al Nuaimi thanked the generous contributors and the dedicated teams of the International Charity Organisation, emphasizing that the enduring spirit of giving seen throughout the campaign would serve as the foundation for future charitable initiatives.
