Dubai lits up for Diwali

With Diwali just around the corner from October 25 to November 7, excitement is building in the UAE as residents and visitors prepare to celebrate the Festival of Lights. One of the highlights is the display of fireworks, among other activities. It’s important to note that bursting crackers requires a permit from a licensed entity in the UAE. Failure to comply with this regulation can result in hefty fines.

In addition to the fireworks, there are many other exciting events and activities lined up. From glimmery decor and cultural performances; to delicious food and shopping deals, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The opening day will have a procession with giant puppets and Nathoo Lal Solanki will be seen showcasing his unique musical talent. Not only this, there’s something planned for each of the days, wrapped up by breathtaking fireworks.

Celebrations at Global Village

Global Village transforms into a Diwali wonderland from October 28 to November 3, followed by another spectacular display of fireworks at 9 pm. Rangoli art, lively performances, and of course, more activities. There’s also a ‘Festival of Lights Market’ at the Indian Pavilion, where you can find an array of ethnic wear, jewelry, and home decor.
