On October 28, Manchester United published a club statement through X at exactly 3:50 p.m. UAE time regarding Erik Ten Hag.

The Red Devils have officially parted ways with Erik Ten Hag after more than two years in charge of the team’s coaching staff. The statement confirmed that Ruud Van Nistelrooy will be the interim head coach of the team while they continue searching for a new coach.

Ten Hag managed to win two domestic trophies during his tenure with Manchester United, the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.

The Dutch manager gets added to the list of managers who yet again failed to replace Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired in 2013.
