Mashreq Bank Launches ‘Pathfinders’ Graduate Programme For Emirati Graduates

Mashreq Bank, has announced the launch of its new graduate programme, ‘Pathfinders’. This initiative is designed to provide Emirati fresh graduates with specialized training and development opportunities tailored to the specific needs of various business units within the bank.

The ‘Pathfinders’ programme offers a targeted approach to different facets of Mashreq’s operations, including Retail Banking, Audit, Compliance, Technology, Legal, Operations, Risk Management, and Customer Experience & Conduct. It aims to align the graduates’ career aspirations with the evolving needs of the banking sector, providing a focused learning environment to help them thrive in their chosen fields.

Pathfinders represents a significant step forward for Mashreq’s graduate recruitment,” she said. Ahmed emphasized that the programme is designed to equip graduates with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to excel, with a focus on nurturing future leaders and driving innovation within the bank.

The programme includes collaboration with the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF) through the Ethraa training initiative, which offers a bespoke learning experience. Graduates selected for ‘Pathfinders’ will have access to certifications from globally recognized institutions, soft skills courses, mentoring, and coaching. Additionally, each participant will receive an Individual Development Plan (IDP) to facilitate a smooth transition into their roles within the bank’s business units.

The ‘Pathfinders’ programme is set to commence in September, with participants beginning their training with Ethraa shortly thereafter, followed by on-the-job training in their assigned departments.

By launching ‘Pathfinders’, Mashreq is reaffirming its commitment to investing in the development of its future workforce, ensuring that new graduates are well-equipped to meet the challenges of the banking sector and contribute to the institution’s ongoing success.
