‘Over 250,000 Meals’: Sheikh Hamdan Visits Emirates Flight Catering, Lauds Operational Excellence

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, took to his social media today to praise Emirates Flight Catering for its major contribution to the success of Dubai’s aviation industry.

In his post, he wrote, “I visited Emirates Flight Catering, one of the world’s largest in-flight catering providers.”

He went on to highlight their impressive scale, advanced smart systems, strong focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability.

“The visit offered a firsthand look at their each day, the team produces over 250,000 meals for Emirates and more than 100 international airlines, a remarkable achievement that reflects the competitiveness and excellence of Dubai’s aviation sector,” His Highness added.

The video uploaded by Sheikh Hamdan gave a glimpse into what happens in the world’s largest in-flight catering hubs.

Established in 2003, Emirates Flight Catering has expanded rapidly, now employing more than 14,000 people and servicing 498 flights each day. The team prepares over 250,000 meals daily.
