Dubai was treated to a dazzling spectacle as Indian actors Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, and director A.R. Murugadoss led the promotional campaign for Sikandar a day before the film’s release.
On March 29, the leading cast of Sikandar made a memorable appearance at the St. Regis Hotel’s observatory deck, famously known as “The View,” before heading to Roxy Cinemas at JBR. There, fans, media, and tourists gathered to catch a glimpse of the stars.
The celebrations then shifted to the striking Dubai skyline, where a visual spectacle was set against the backdrop of the world’s largest observation wheel, AIN Dubai. The AIN Dubai was illuminated with a special projection showcasing behind-the-scenes visuals from Sikandar. The iconic ferris wheel, aptly symbolizing the event’s organizer Ferriswheel International, offered stunning panoramic views of the city and the Arabian Gulf, creating an unforgettable cinematic moment for all.
Salman Khan, known for his Eid blockbusters, was welcomed warmly by a diverse crowd of fans eager to see the Bollywood icon. Standing outside Roxy Cinemas at JBR, he shared a heartfelt message:
“The love from fans in Dubai has always been overwhelming. Sikandar is very close to my heart, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it on the big screen this Eid.”
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who has a long history of successful collaborations with Salman Khan, was unable to attend the event but sent his best wishes, noting, “Dubai has always embraced Indian cinema with open arms, and there couldn’t have been a better place than Dubai to celebrate Sikandar and ring in the Eid festivities ahead of its global release.”

Director A.R. Murugadoss expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “It was a unique experience indeed working with Salman Khan sir, and we wanted Sikandar to be grand in every sense, from the storytelling to the way we connect with audiences worldwide. Dubai felt like the perfect prelude to the global launch.”
Rashmika Mandanna, who shares the screen with Khan in Sikandar, added, “The energy around Sikandar is just incredible, and I’m so grateful to be part of this epic journey alongside Salman sir and Murugadoss sir. Can’t wait for everyone to watch the film this Eid. It’s full of heart, action, and everything we love about cinema!”
Shubhra Bharadwaj, the Founder and Creative Director of Ferriswheel International, the company responsible for bringing Sikandar to Dubai, emphasized the significance of the event. She stated, “After 30 years of events across 60 countries, this is Ferriswheel’s mega project in the UAE. We are known for our unique and experiential events, and who better than Salman Khan to spearhead what we stand for?”
The Dubai celebrations are part of an extensive global rollout for Sikandar, which has been released today in over 115 countries, across 2,000+ locations, and 3,500+ screens.
