For quite some years, Salman Khan has stuck to his routine of releasing a film on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr. Given that this year Sikandar is the talk of the town, excitement among moviegoers and Bhaijaan’s fans is at its peak. Now, according to Indian media reports, some details about the film’s release date, trailer release, and runtime have been revealed.
Salman’s ‘Sikandar’ Release Date Revealed
Since the final day is revealed after the sighting of the moon, reports suggested that the movie might be released on either Friday, March 28, Saturday, March 29, or Sunday, March 30. However, as per Bollywood Hungama, “Sikandar’s release date has been locked. It’ll arrive in cinemas on Sunday, March 30,” a source told the media house. “The makers are confident that it’s the correct day for release. Sunday will be a big holiday, more so in Maharashtra as Gudi Padwa falls on that day,” the source further added.
Runtime and Trailer Release Date
Director AR Murugadoss shared with Pinkvilla that the Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes long. He further added that the trailer is also nearing completion and that the team wants to satisfy the first-day, first-show audience, which is their target. “We also want to convey that Sikandar is a lot more than just a mass film – it’s an entertainer with repeat value. It’s a film with lots of emotion, and we are targeting all sections of audiences – from Salman sir’s fans to the masses, classes, and the family audience,” he added.
Sikandar Naache Song Out Now
Recently, the makers unveiled another song from the upcomer, titled Sikandar Naache. The peppy track gives a glimpse of the duo, Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s fun camaraderie.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and helmed by A.R. Murugadoss, the flick also stars Sathyaraj in a pivotal role. Previously, songs like Zohra Jabeen, and Bam Bam Bhole garnered massive views with both touching 52Mn and 38Mn views on YouTube respectively.
