On Thursday, Fujairah experienced heavy rains accompanied by a hailstorm. A yellow alert was issued by the UAE’s Met Department in the affected area as weather conditions evolved rapidly. The UAE’s east, including Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah, also witnessed scattered rainfall. Heavy rainfall across the UAE led to the creation of waterfalls in mountainous regions of the country.
